Stopped here for a quick dinner here on my way to the airport. There's a parking lot outside with sufficient parking. It seems like a little hole in the wall kind of place with lots of local Hispanic people ordering from it. I tried the fish, lengua and chicken tacos, all were very good, simple, juicy, and filling. One of the sauces was very spicy. The taco shells were thin and durable. Will stop by again next time.

During our visit to Tikalito Restaurante in Ypsilanti, Michigan, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious homemade flour tortillas. We ordered a carne asada burrito, steak taco, and Torta de asada, all of which were incredibly flavorful. Additionally, we took home a quesadilla and another burrito to enjoy later. The homemade natural fruit waters, Pepita and Jamaica, were also a highlight of our dining experience. The establishment was clean, and the service we received was amazing. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a satisfying dining experience.

The cook was very friendly and kind. And the tacos were so delish.. reminding me the authentic tasty tacos I had in Arizona. I will definitely be here again. The environment was quiet and clean. If you’d like to have dinner in a peaceful restaurant with authentic food, I would recommend this place.

Amazing food but stay away from the auto mechanic shop next door he does shady work and changes his price on a simple repair. He said he would press in a front wheel bearing if I brought the hub taken off my car for $50 per side with my parts I brought from Autozone. I came back the next day and he changed it to $200 per side not including parts that would cost more. He said no warranty with your parts.

First time visiting Tikalito and I am floored. I’m pretty convinced it’s the best tacos I’ve ever had - and I love tacos. I can only assume that the guy who helped me with my order was the owner himself. He was friendly, funny, and just an all-around great guy to be around. I got the Al Pastor Tacos, Lengua Tacos, and a pork tamale. All to go. All the tacos were still piping hot after I got home, which was about a 10-minute drive. The Al Pastor tacos were cooked to perfection and oh-so tender. The lengua was our favorite. It had grilled pineapples in it, even MORE tender, and was just absolutely bangin. I ordered all the tacos with onions and cilantro; and there were also some sliced radishes that came with the food that really complimented everything. The pork tamale was wrapped in a green leaf and the corn was delicious and meaty. Exceptionally well-seasoned. The pork was absolutely incredible. Generously large, tender chunks that had so. much. flavor. They tasted as if they’d been marinated and slow-cooked for hours. And don’t get me started on the salsas. Hands down some of the best salsas I’ve ever had. The red one was creamy, punchy, and had this incredible meatiness to it. The green one was tangy but refreshing, and slightly less spicy. Definitely coming back for more.
